Found in the most prominent of the southern locales. It is used in place of such worn expressions as 'about to", 'going to', 'preparing for', etc.

I'm fixin' to fix ya'll some sandwitches.

Very common in Southern states such as Texas.

I'm fixin' to write my paper.
I'm fixin' to go to the dance.

goral fixation

Like an oral fixation, but for gore. An obsession for gory movies.

Gary - Man, I think that Sammy has a goral fixation; all he wants to do all day is watch scary movies.

Fixpensive

An object that is so battered and trashed that it would cost one more to fix it than to go out and buy a replacement.

Person 1: Man, your car is lookin pretty ragged...

Person 2: Tell me about it! The radiator is busted, the transmission is blown, and the windshield and doors are gone...this mofo is gettin fixpensive!

The act of fixing ones self at a red stop light or stop sign. By putting make up on, brushing hair, exfoliating the skin or just giving a quick once over to make sure everything is OK.
