The act of rubbing one's ass on the floor while placing hands in between legs to pull one's self forward. Most of the time booty scooching is performed in circles on carpets.

Usually done by dogs with itchy booties

-Bob: Dude my dog was really acting weird earlier today
-Hans: What was he doing?
-Bob: Rubbing his ass on the carpet and moving in circles
-Hans: HAHAHAHA thats called booty scooching, it's very common among dogs.
-Bob: Wow! Thanks I didn't know! Booty scooch!
