When a person volunteers the help of another person without that person actually being aware that they are even going to be helping or that the situation as a whole even exists. Usually this act of voluntolding someone is done by a parent or a spouse, but is occasionally done by best friends and siblings.

You can consider yourself to be voluntold when you find out after an arrangement is made that you are expected and will be assisting with... (insert undesirable happening here).
