Doing an MSN server

to 'do an msn server' is to not work when needed. It is to piss everyone off when it is inconvenient for them. It is also to respond slow and do maintenance or repair at the completely wrong time and without warning

Billy: Man... those road works are totally doing an MSN Server!!
Bobfred: Yeah I know... i needed to get to work down the main road which is only 2km, but i had to go the long way, 10km instead!

the act of overachieving without any results or purpose.

Telling a joke but nobody laughs afterwords.
Worrying about unnecessary topics.
Irritating a person, whether purposely or unaware

Example 1: Joe-"I finished my project yesterday!"
Kevin-"But it's not due until next Friday.."
Joe-"Yah, I just stayed up until 3 o' clock doing it."
Kevin-"Aw, you're doin' too much.."

Example 2: Dion-"I wore a Hollister shirt yesterday,
now i'm afraid that i'll become a different person if
i start wearing it regularly. i should put this as my

Doin' the dirt

Slang for committing crime for money. Usually refers to low level criminal activity (aka the dirty work). Doin' dirt is commonly connected to drug dealing & trafficking, but doing dirt can be used to describe a wide variety of crime such as: robbing people, pimping hoes, running small-time gambling rings, assault+murder (for pay obviously) ect...

Lil man: Yaow man what you doin on the block at this hour?
Blood: Doin' that dirt lil nigga.
Lil man: Really? Can you hit me up with some weight?
Blood: Hell naw, your so young you couldnt even lift a Ki

Momma: Tiquita, where the fuck Jamal at, I gave him our foodstamps to go grocery shoppin 3hrs ago!?
Tiquita: Why momma? You know he's tryin to come up.. I bet he traded them for some work, he's prolly doin' the dirt right now on 116th and Lennox..
