A descriptive, informal, or sometimes derogatory term to refer to a normal person who believes they are
transsexual, but do not fit the medical criteria.
This is a person who does not have gender dysphoria, and is therefore not a
transsexual. This person is likely a masculine woman, feminine man, someone with sexual trauma, someone with a severe need for attention, etc. They
may identify as "nonbinary lesbians," "gender fluid," "they/them," "ze/zir," or as one of the two
normal genders, but clearly not be trying to appear as the opposite sex. (For example "transwomen" with beards.) In rare cases, they
may try to appear as the opposite sex, but they are mistaking gender dysphoria for another issue.
BOTTOM LINE: Someone who believes they are transsexual but are not because they do not have gender dysphoria, the essential element to being trans.
Someone who is truly transsexual had a hormonal imbalance while in the mother's womb, the brain and body develop at different times, so testosterone and estrogen were present when it should have been one or the other. Transsexual's movement for rights has been co-opted by transtrenders, and tainting how they are perceived by
society. They will always identify as one of the two, male or
female. They will (if safety allows) try to look
like the opposite sex. They do this because it alleviates gender dysphoria.
