Fake Nerd

A Fake-Ass person who has seen shows like "Big Bang Theory" (or to a lesser extent "Twilight") and have mixed in the Modern Hipster culture and styles of wearing Fake "Ray-Bans" and 80's style clothes. They have played some kind of Popular video game such as "Call of Duty, Madden/Fifa or a singing/music game" and think that they are also "Gamers" They claim they are nerdy because they they do these things or Hang out with similarly minded individuals. They are completly fake because they have no real sense of what a nerd is. They are also the same people who make fun of people for playing Xbox or PS3 too much, or play World Of Warcraft in their spare time. Real Nerds are disgusted by the way posers, pretend to be like them.

A trend among some Tumblr "famous" users where they pretend a celebrity has tweeted about them by faking a Tweet. Usually they sound very narcissistic and is quite obvious that they were made by none other than the person who posted them. Most of the other users can't stand them and actively make fun of them.

Person #1: OMG, did you see what Rihanna wrote about that Tumblr user on Twitter?
Person #2: Nah, that was clearly a fake-ass tweet, like Rihanna even knows who they are!

Someone who becomes friends with a person, adds them on Facebook, then decides that the friendship can be maintained entirely on Facebook. They do not bother to organize to meet up with this person, sometimes they might not even acknowledge them when they walk past them in the street. Furthermore, they appear on Facebook to be great friends because they write on each others walls.

Person B: "Wow, you must be getting constantly stopped in the street and chatted to."
