Barcode Posting Dipshit

A stupid fucker who brags on social media by posting pics of tickets to games, events, or shows that he/she is going to. This fool posts the tickets with the barcodes clearly visible in the pic, and then acts surprised when he/she shows up at the entrance to the event and finds that somebody copied the barcode from his post and used it to get in while he/she languishes outside.

"Look at this instagram pic - Joe is going to the Steelers game tonight, he posted a pic of his tickets. Stupid Barcode Posting Dipshit! Some hacker will be in his seat!"

Prower Posting

A term to describe a derailment of a conversation by posting pointless and irrelevant Hanna-Barbera trivias and weird obsessions of cartoon characters with ginormous limbs, ruining the tone of the discussion. Commonly used by an obnoxious individual in Discord servers that are unfortunate to have them.

Friend A :" My cat passed away. Today was a hard day."
Friend B:" I'm so sorry to hear that buddy. I have a picture of my late cat I can share. Hold on."
Prower poster:" Uh... that's odd. So anyway, heres Huckleberry Hound in the 80's Yogi Bear cartoon. You can see he is a bit off colored to his 30's cartoon counterpart. Making him his nephew"
Friend A: "There he goes prower posting again. I'm leaving this server. Wouldn't miss it here. Stop DM-ing me pointless cartoon trivia, asshole. I don't give a shit."

Posting a Seven

On democraticunderground.com, during the summer of 2009, Seven Gay posters were banned within a 24 hour period for the crime of disagreeing with Obama administration policies. One member (after the original 7 were banned) got banned for just posting the number 7. This time has been called the Great Gay Purge of 2009. As a result, at least 23 long time members were banned from the site.

Posting a Seven is posting something deliberately to be banned from a message board.

a descriptive phrase for attempting any hopeless task. If you've ever tried to push water uphill you'll understand the concept.

literal-Part of my job involves clearing water from the floor of my work station. Because the floor is pitched away from the drain, it takes an inordinate amount of time to clear the water, because I'm always pushing it uphill.
figurative-Asking your boss for a raise in these times of tight money makes as much sense as pushing water uphill.

Pushing Mongo

A stupid way to skateboard. A person skates mongo if they use their leading foot (the foot that is in the front while riding) to push. While they are pushing, their back foot stays near the rear of the board and they push with their front foot.

No wonder Stu can't learn that trick. Dude's pushing mongo.
