Similar to "what it do", but asking of possibilities in the future, not what's going on in the present. It's a greeting like, "whats up?" or "how are you?", posing the question, "what can we make of this?". It's not asking what's happening or what will happen, but what can happen. What can we make of this opportunity which is the present?
