A man who grew out a beard in order to compensate for average to below average looks, and also has a weird/awkward personality and had a shaky, somewhat hard time dealing with women.

He was always a quiet, nerdy kid who was awkward with women. Then he grew out a beard and started working out. He's a total beardo now.
