Hyper Sonic

Using the 7 Super Emeralds, Sonic the Hedgehog could transform into Hyper Sonic after collecting 50 rings.
He was faster, stronger, could jump higher than,
and over-all out perform Sonic's other form,
Super Sonic.

After finding the 7 Chaos Emeralds,
Sonic took them to the Master Emerald
where they were powered up into Super Emeralds.
Hyper Sonic as only appeared twice,
first in Sonic 3&Knuckles(genesis)
and then in Sonic Mega Collection(GCN,PS2,XBX), but that doesn't count.

Sonic X

A anime with a decent but not great story line about Sonic the Hedgehog (fastest thing alive). It's not as good as satAM but it doesn't suck.
