The word can be used as a valid/rational response, rhetorical device or word said while nodding your head when you can't say anything. It can also be used in the event of a misunderstanding and/or to counter a ridiculous poll or statement made by a person pandering a crowd to name nothing through a vote on behalf of something that is not tangible, certain or clearly defined with comic relief.
