oblidiot

Part 'oblivious' and part 'idiot', an "oblidiot" is a term first coined to describe idiot drivers who are also completely oblivious to others who may be driving near them in traffic. More recently, the term has adopted a more generic definition to describe those who are simply "oblivious idiots".

Hey, look at this oblidiot! She just swerved across two lanes without looking and cut right in front of me to get in this lane. There were signs for the past 2 miles warning that there was a toll coming up! And here we sit, while she sorts through her purse looking for change. Oh wait! Now she's opened the car door to look on the pavement for some change! Ah! I can't believe it...now she's popped the trunk open! In the tollway booth! Unbelievable!!

Facebook obligate friend

When you get a friend request on facebook and for whatever reason you feel obligated or feel it necessary to accept their request even though you would prefer not to.

I didn't much like Lisa when we worked on the fundraiser together and now she put in a friend request to me on Facebook. I wouldn't have accepted it but she is so well connected in the community I think it would be a mistake to ignore it. I grouped her under what she is--a Facebook obligate friend.

oblidate

when you feel as if you're obligated to go out on a date with someone. I.E: a blind date, an old boy/girlfriend or just someone who has the funds to feed you for one night.

"Sorry Julie, I woud love to go out with you Friday night but the ex keeps calling and wanting to hang out with me, I have an oblidate."

"Josh isn't that cute or funny but I sure am hungry. I guess an oblidate is in order."

followers obligation

A situation in which, through no fault of the follow (typically male), one has found themselves walking behind another (typically female), with the follwed oblivious to the follower.
This commonly occurs on city streets, college campuses/ towns, or parking lots. In the situation of the follower, it becomes necessary to make oneself known before discovered.

Following without the followed knowing becomes exponentially risky/awkward/sketchy as hours grow late, especially when discovered.
Do's

1 walk casually
2 walk slowly
3 start a fake cell phone convo to alert presence
4 cough if necessary
5 keep eyes moving/ as to not be caught staring in the case of a quick turnaround
6 act slightly drunk or impaired
7 scuffle feet acouple times

Don'ts

1 walk fast
2 jog
3 run
4 sprint
5 walk as if to not make any noise
6 be caught within shadow range
7 be a known sex offender

pertaining to the name of someone who likes anime, games, and pizza, and can do all at the same time. This persons friends are usually also gamers, and share the same liking of pizza.
