ranting is letting your feelings escape you instead of bottling up.
you can rant by telling others, writing it out, screaming it to yourself, speaking to a therapist and many more options.
when you rant you realise that you feel better even though all those things may still be there you feel like you’ve overcome a step and moved on to the next.

It’s like an obstacle course where you have to get through one challenge to get to the next.

Quick rant

The start of a sentence that signals that the following will be a paragraph about a topic interesting or important to the writer that they understand may not be interesting to others

Quick rant: Our present is the result of everything done in the past some would say this means if you change an element of the past it would change the present. No it means if you tried to change an element of the past no matter what you do you will 1. cause the present to happen or 2. Not change anything at all because the fact that you live in a reality where something happened means that it no matter what happened and going to a time before it means it has yet but will happen

Pronounced "end rant." Reminiscent of various programming-esque chat-specific commands. Used when you've written a long rant and need some mental closure to assure yourself that you have indeed finished your rant, so that you can move on. Also serves as a signal to the reader that 1) the above text was in fact a rant and, therefore, has an underlying message that should be divorced from the passion and emotion that inevitably gave said text a mildly offensive or belligerent tinge; and 2) (especially during a lengthy back-and-forth) you do not intend to respond to any additional replies with a similarly equally long rant, because you've said your piece.

Less emotional versions could include "/end" or "/fin," especially for serving purpose 2).
