Meaning of the last one: a typical southern dialect pronounces vs with the 'y' (d) sound and they pronounce ts at the end of word with the 'c' sound. This means that they say the country's name as "yiec nam" which sounds identical to their pronunciation of the word "Diệt" (yiet) which means to exterminate/get rid of. And "Nam" means south. So basically anytime a southerner says "Viet Nam" it will sound like "Yiec Nam / Eliminate the South" instead.
