Funday Monday

The most popular segment of the Day9 Dailies, the StarCraft II video podcast of Sean "Day9" Plott.

The basic idea: Day9 sez, "Here's an arbitrary restriction(s) that usually negatively affects your gameplay. Send me a video of a match in which you adhere to said restriction (singular or plural), and maaaaaaaybe I'll feature it on my vodcast."

The results:
-Ladder rankings for many people get fucked over. Some think this is the intent of Day9.
-Many people hope their matches will be featured on Day9's weekly Funday Monday segment.
-Said people usually use Day9 as an excuse for their bad gameplay when attempting Funday Mondays.
"It's Funday Monday! Let's see how I've fucked over the StarCraft II ladder rankings this week." -Day9

*at beginning of match*
Player 1: glhf
Player 2: u2
*at end of match, when Player 2 is losing rather badly*
Player 1: You've been playing rather badly. Kinda odd...
Player 2: Day9 made me do it!
Player 1: oic

ICS Fund

Not really an official savings account, but rather an "In Case Shit" Fund that you only dip into for those 'just in case' situations like when you run out of weed or you have to take your dog to the vet.
Joe: "Damn, that hoe wrecked my car and I don't have insurance."

Chris: "Looks like you'll be dipping into the savings account."

Joe: "I don't have much of a savings account, just an ICS Fund."

Chris: "An ICS Fund?"

Joe: "Yeah, an In Case Shit Fund, it's not really an official savings account."

An acronym for Trust Fund Baby Syndrome. When the case of having a privileged life is so hard and how people think your stuck up when in your own opinion your not boils up to a moment of self awareness that Yes, my friend, you are really that annoying.
While watch flipping through the TV channels, I stop on MTV, which is showing another great episode of Sweet Sixteen, some whinny little bitch cries about not have the birthday party they wanted and how shit isn't fair while throwing a temper tantrum, even though his or her parent is actually footing the bill for it all. private equity fund

(FINANCE) business entity formed to pool money provided by investors in order to buy majority stakes in existing companies. A common practice is to then "take the company private," so that it no longer has shares trading on the stock market. The company is then restructured, so that it has entirely different management practices, or a different business strategy. Afterward, the PE fund will most likely re-sell the company on the stock market in a sponsored IPO.

Private equity funds are usually limited liability partnerships (LLPs), which gives them special privileges of nondisclosure; most are organized in the State of Delaware. PEF's have sponsors, or "principals," who are responsible for organizing the fund and recruiting other investors.

Among the best-known PE funds are Blackstone Group*, Kohlberg Kravis Roberts (KKR)*, Goldman Sachs Capital Partners*, Carlyle Group, Permira, Apollo Management, Providence Equity, TPG Capital, Warburg Pincus, and Cerberus. Companies marked with an asterisk (*) are publically listed corporations; most PE funds are pivately managed. The selection above includes the largest ones by capital under management.
The private equity fund first appeared in the 1970's as a result of changes to ERISA. Institutional investors, usually pension funds, could be legal partners in an LLP; they also required a place to park assets with very high rates of return.

In the USA, PE funds have long been sinecures for the most powerful political dynasties: the Rockefellers, the Romneys, the Bushes, and others.
