To be in the dissociative state induced by ingesting excessive amounts of dextromethorphan (DXM). This chemical is most commonly abused though the consumption of cough syrup, which contain DXM for its antitussive (cough-suppresant) properties. The name is derived from the common cough syrup brand, Robotussin.

The dissociative properties induce a "trippy" altered state, but should not be confused with the "trips" caused by psychedelics such as shrooms; the drug is in the same group as PCP, not LSD. Hallucinations are possible but rarer at common levels, while common experiences include a separation of mind and body, feelings of supreme balance and strength, sensory deprivation, and intense dreamlike states. People who are under the influence of DXM are also known for their distinct "robo-walk", a jerky walking movement caused by the lack of sensory control.

Robot Bukakke

A term used in Elder Scrolls Online to describe a mechanic of the 2nd boss in the Halls of Fabrication Trial. He will disappear and 4 ghost like images reappear. Each will randomly "blow a load" of energy onto the tank and the tank has to turn and randomly block the wave or it will kill everyone in the path. Hence the term "bukakke".

The tank failed the robot bukakke test and wiped half the group.

Robot Women

We all know a few women like this. They base their ENTIRE personality on vsco, tiktok, and celebrities they find attractive. If you talk to them about anything else other than that or fit their aesthetic they go into shutdown mode, just like a robot. They upgrade their body with parts just like a robot too. They spray color on them, put a mask of makeup on, have medically inserted parts for sexual appearance. They’re “more machine than man”, like darth vader. Their teeth are all fake inserts that stay white forever. They only put their feet in the pool because if they jump in then their true nature starts to reveal itself. They claim that they’re different than the rest of the women but in reality they’re all exactly the same and only do this stuff to impress other women, not males.

Bobby: “I’m sick and tired of these Robot Women. When I’m surrounded by them it drains my soul and makes me feel like a black sheep. I just want to communicate with someone with their own personality.”
