Acid in pill form is the only way the word is used. Mescaline can be in pill form, but never known or referred to as microdot. Lil wyte mentioned the pills in a song, and many people looked down on him as a junkie talking about drugs, so it doesn't make a person cool or popular to talk about it. Just sharing information.

This is generally utilized by mindless people who don't think for themselves and therefore simply repeat the statements of others. It involves zero intelligence and simple following of what your professors taught you. It's the opposite of free thinking and rebellion.

The Human Microphones simply repeated mindlessly the people egging them on without thinking for themselves. They aren't too bright.
