Internet Island

An small area where an internet connection is available within a deadzone. Internet Islands may or may not be extremely uncomfortable to use.

Examples include a lone farmhouse with WiFi, That certain spot where your mobile broadband modem gets signal, and using the library's WiFi when the rest of the university's network is overloaded.

"I found an internet island at the library on 5th Avenue. No password."

"There's an internet island by the window. It's only 2G though, so don't expect much."

1. a period of time, be it a week or more, involving no sexual activity except for ahem.. the internet, ie. porn
2. the promise of an internet week, also used as an excuse to get out of said sexual activity, usually using an excuse such as work

Internet Forgotten

The case of where you have something really great that you want to search because it could mean a huge impact on something, or do something big, e.g. change the world, make a new internet meme, etc. but as soon as you try to, you instantly blank-out, and forget. This is really annoying.

I had such a bad case of Internet Forgotten that between the home page and the search page, I forgot what I was going to search for.
