Demon

Originally, a demon isn't the red-skinned, evil, almost pop-culture seeming, horned beast that religions like Christianity has made it today. In Greek mythology, the word "demon" derives from the word Greek word "daimon" which essentially means that it's a godlike creature (If not a god on its own). Daimons served as a type of messenger to the Gods as a means of communication with the humans. An example of a common daimon messenger in Greek mythology is the Satyr.

Man, don't you hate when people think that demons are a Christian thing exclusively?

Demonetized

A word used to censor other words, particularly in the case of CaptainSparklez' YouTube channel, when he coined the term after doing reddit reaction videos.

The minecraf chat reads "CS was demonetized by Jerry" rather than "CS was slain by Jerry" so that YouTubes algorithms won't demonetize the video.

Booze Demon

When one is possessed by a demonic presents so that he/she cannot stop drinking. Often results with the possessed individual in a deep coma like state craving more alcohol.
Side affects may include: Chundering, proclaiming love, attempt to down copious amounts of alcohol ie. pitchers, fishbowls and yards, and severe memory loss.

Person 1: brah, you we're wasted.

Person 2: You were possessed by the booze demon
Person 3: Hand me that drink
Person 1 & 2: Mother of god, he's still possessed!!!!!
