had a horrible gang problem in parts of the city back in the 80s and 90s but got better.

East side of the city (the beach) has clubs, huge concert venues, bars, dozens of hotels, LOTS of prostitutes.. the place to be on weekends.

West side of the city borders Norfolk and is controlled by black/mexican gangs and typically not where you want to be.

gerritsen beach

One of the few places in metropolitan New York where inbreeding isn't frowned upon. FAS and other infant alcohol related symptoms run rampant in this area as well.

Stay away from Gerritsen Beach Bobby, you don't want to associate yourself with those characters.

The best town in the world where everyone knows everyone and their business. A lot of people are bitches and douchebags, but the most people just want to have fun in life and dont care what anyone else thinks. Teachers tend to hate on people from Long beach, but we don't care because we know we are awesome. Our beach is the best in the world and we hate tourists because they are the stupid ones that the lifeguards are normally saving. if you want to have a good time come to long beach. the police never catch people drinking so most people drink throughout their high school career especially under the boardwalk every weekend. Although during the winter long beach is very boring, we always find a way to have fun. The west end has a bunch of shops and bars and the east end is mainly houses and is where nicer houses are located because the west end is mainly bungalows.

Hampton Beach

Hampton Beach is a small trashy beach on the coast of New Hampshire. Known for its boardwalk shops which supply ninja stars and drug paraphernalia to the 12 year old punks who roam O Street. The scenery includes: cigarettes, pregnant girls smoking cigs with their skinny shirtless boyfriends and one mile of 0 mph traffic. People who actually live in Hampton take the beach for what it really is; however, Massachusetts's residents think it is God's gift to the world.
