Get the four finger discount mug.Narcissistic personality disorder is a pervasive pattern of grandiose thoughts and/or behavior, need for admiration, and lack of empathy, beginning by early adulthood and present in a variety of contexts, as indicated by five (or more) of the following:
1. Has a grandiose sense of self-importance (e.g., exaggerates achievements and talents while minimizing failures, expects to be recognized as superior without earning that reverence).
2. Is preoccupied with fantasies of unlimited success, power, brilliance, beauty, or ideal love; often becomes a life goal.
3. Believes that he or she is "special" and unique and can only be understood by, or should associate with, other special or high-status people (or institutions)
4. Requires excessive admiration, regardless of whether they earned the admiration.
5. Has a sense of entitlement, unreasonable expectations of especially favorable treatment or automatic compliance from others.
6. Exploits other people, using them to achieve his or her own ends.
7. Lacks empathy: is unwilling to recognize or identify with the feelings and needs of others.
8. Is often envious of others or believes that others are envious of him or her.
9. Shows arrogant, haughty behaviors or attitudes.

Narcissistic personality disorder often manifests in corporate CEOs, politicians (like Kim-Jong Il, Stalin, Saddam Hussein, etc.), cult leaders (like Jim Jones, David Berg, Warren Jeffs, Joseph Smith, etc), corrupt authorities, corrupt clergy or religious leaders, criminals (like Charles Manson, Ted Bundy, Gertrude Baniszewski, Diane Downs, etc), celebrities (like Rush Limbaugh, OJ Simpson, Donald Trump, etc.) among others.
Personality disorders usually overlap and the narcissist shares many traits with the paranoid, histrionic and antisocial personalities: the paranoid and the narcissist are both often irrationally suspicious and distrustful but the paranoid acts in self-defense while narcissists fear any exposure of their failures and flaws; the histrionic and narcissist both want to be the centre of attention, but the histrionic is usually playful, dependent, is more exaggerated in emotional display, and craves *any* attention (good or bad) while the narcissist is haughty, exploits others, and will only accept admiration; the antisocial personality and the narcissist are both ruthless, glib manipulators who ruin lives but the antisocial personality does not need excessive admiration, is deceptive, impulsive, aggressive, and degrades and manipulates others for profit or pleasure while narcissists publicly disparage others, think of their futures, and bully others to bolster their own egos.

People with Huntingtons Disease can suffer from Tremors, Writhing and it can sometimes lead to Dementia (loss of sanity). Unfortunately, only one Huntingtons gene has to be inheritied sor someone to suffer with the condition. So far there is no cure.
It is advisible that people have their Genes checked early on for Huntingtons disease, as most people only find out they have it in their 40's-50's.

Get the Huntingtons disease mug.Rick Disneck is a fictional gymnast featured on a very well-known Australian comedy album from the 1980s.
The album, Wired World of Sports by the Twelfth Man (Billy Birmingham), is a parody of Channel Nine's Wide World of Sports, a Sunday sports wrap-up program that ran for many years. The album satirises the presenters and features footage or interviews with imaginary sports stars, usually with funny names such as "female" bodybuilder Anna Bolic ("Oh my God, Oh my God, a testicle has just popped out of her costume!" "HER costume???!!!"), the Russian weightlifter Popavalium Andropoff (who suffered the fate all weightlifters dread, when his guts came flying out of his arsehole), or the Mexican-Japanese boxer Zalos Karate.
Rick Disneck, or "wrecked his neck" is based on American gymanst Brian Meeker, whose early 80's collision with a pommel horse is one of the most famous sporting accidents of all time (see youtube or a "Top 20 Sporting Blunders" show). The interview, hosted by presenter Darrell Eastlake, takes place with a presumably convalescing Rick. Throughout the interview, Rick barely talks above a slow, wheezy whisper as he discusses his many injuries ("I crushed my larynx and ruptured my spleeeen") and how the accident happened.
Well worth a listen if you can get it, although the Australian Rules football and cricket stuff is probably over most American heads. Later albums continued the trend of names with funny meanings, most notably of Indian, Sri Lankan and Pakistani cricketers.
Ask any Australian male over 25 who Rick Disneck is, and if they don't respond with a wheezy groan followed by "No Darrell, I just fucked up", well, I'll eat my own head.

Mike Gibson: "Rick Disneck is the poor bastard you see slamming in the vaulting horse at a hundred miles an hour"
Darrell Eastlake: "So Rick, did you have a blowout in a sandshoe as many believe, or did you just fuck up?"
Rick Disneck: *eeeeeerrrgh* "No Darrell, I just fucked up."
