This is quite old slang but still used occasionally in the South-West of England. It derives from cloths or clothes and refers to a woman’s knickers, drawers or panties. It is quite disparaging and is used to described undergarments of the baggy Bridget Jones type or things so foul, tattered and disgusting that they should be classified as a health hazard

a cleverly deceiving type of douchebag that by all outward appearances seems normal, but do not be fooled this type of douchebag has had years to mask his douchiness. When this type of douchebag encounters other douchebags they tend to display douchey behavior.

I never in suspected that Chad was a douche in sheep's clothing, but look at him over there with those douchebags talking about the lastest Ed Hardy shirts and new pokemon games.
