Slang word to describe a social media user who desires to anger another by posting an obviously incorrect opinion to get negative attention towards them in order to gain either followers or likes (or a gun pointed at them either way)

When companies use (primarily tech) buzzwords and trends to get investors to throw money at them.

Some startups/ companies may even base their entire branding off investor bait (such as meta).

The "Shorts" section on Facebook is getting clogged by anticlimactic gaze-bait.
