Usually they adopt the language and attitude of hyper-masculinity without the confidence, competence, or self-control typically associated with it. Instead they opt for an approach which mistakes volume for authority, cruelty for wit, and outdated talking points for independent thought.
A common tell of a Diet Alpha is loud certainty and fragile ego, often compelled to insert itself into unrelated discussions and respond defensively to criticism it mistakenly interprets as personal.
