1. noun, a synonym of friend or mate. Usually used in the North of England (Yorkshire), among other places.

2. noun, an insult, similar to arse hole or dick head. May be used in a homophobic manner. Seemingly used in North America and other English-speaking countries.

cockers

A play on the British game conckers, I which the two opposing players both swing a string with a chestnut on the end into each other, the first player who's chestnut breaks looses.

This rendition instead uses the opposing players testicles and/or ovaries, which are swung until one breaks, declaring the winner.

Me and my homies just played a sick game of cockers, but since were now down a player, want to join?

Regional NYC slang to indicate running away really fast or leaving a place really quickly.

A very aggressive dog broke away from his owner in the park so, I grabbed my small dog and cooked it.
