Bobuk defensive football philosophy

Tell him the basis of my defensive philosophy is if he can’t tackle the fucking dive then we’re playing strictly offense and we’re just gonna outscore the opponent
Did you hear the bobuk defensive football philosophy it’s pretty good... yeah man I don’t get why more nfl teams don’t use it

Always Defending Mugabe

A joke made by English comedian Jack Whitehall. After seeing Robert Mugabe being interviewed, it is said that Whitehall's father errupted at the television stating that Mugabe was 'an odious c*nt'.
His Mother then spins round from the kitchen sink and screams for him to shut up and 'NEVER..EVER use that language infront of his children!' to which his Father repies:

'That's just TYPICAL of you Hilary.. ALWAYS DEFENDING MUGABE'.

To be used when some one has missed the point of a person's rant or explosion of explict language or just when some one has expressed controversial or offensive opinions.
Thats just TYPICAL of you, Hilary... ALWAYS DEFENDING MUGABE

defending the shield

Origin is from ESPN's Pardon the Interrupton

Wilbon makes fun of Kornheiser's "NFL, right or wrong" defense of league policy, no matter how absurd it may be.

1) to blindly defend a rule, decision, or product, soley based on the fact that you're in love with it
"Don't say anything about how shitty AT&T's cell phones are. Bob's a former employee, and he'll bore you to death, defending the shield"

"Someone brought up Mike Vick, then Pat jumped in, and started defending the shield. He must be Roger Goodell's cousin"

Defensive Eating

Strategically consuming food for the sole purpose of preventing others from getting it.
Matt’s mother-in-law unexpectedly arrived with a delicious dinner immediately after Matt finished a 12-inch sub. In order to prevent his wife from getting the surprise meal, he used defensive eating to consume the additional food.
