Some of the things they teach you in school
may possibly become vaguely useful in later life. About 50% of the
crap they teach you is pointless, and will never be used in real life, and 30%is just review of the pointless
crap they already taught you. If you want to become a lawyer...do you really need to know the history of Rome? I should be able to choose what I want to learn based on what I want to do in later life. If I want to be a construction worker, I'll take a class in architecture. If I want to be a math
teacher, I'll take a class in math. We should learn only what will be of value in whatever
job we hope to pursue as adults. Anything else is a complete waste of
time. School does have some useful points, but it has many flaws that really need to be fixed.
Student: I want to own a restaurant when I grow up, so why am I stuck in school learning about the economical orientation of Madagascar?
Teacher: How dare actually wan to pursue your dreams!!
