Faux Limit Soldier

This special kind of artistic ability stems from the all to familiar "Press Play DJ" style of DJing. With the advancement of technology and specifically with the invention of CDJ's, the fine art of staying in the groove for less than 1 Minute (Unless Playing Hip Hop, Breaks, or Scratching, etc) is easily possible with some pre-production skills and your favorite DAW. Now you too can become a Faux Limit Soldier. You don't like that intro? cut it out! You think the ending should be in

the front? PUT IT IN THE FRONT! You want to blend Sandstorm into the biggest Dubstep drop on the planet? PRE-PRO Bro! If you can cut a pizza, you can cut up the emotional integrity of any song you choose. What are you waiting for? Go ruin someones hard work today!
Jim: Hey man this EDM music is bangin bro!
Bob: Its just EDM bro.
Jim: Yeah EDM music dude, I know.
Bob: Nevermind, what amazing tale do you have for me now Jim?
Jim: I know you say all these guys are Faux DJ's, but seriously I just heard DJ Kumquat lay down 35 tracks in an hour!
Bob: F*** him, no he didn't!
Jim: Dude I swear on my life bro. Dude then like half way through his set some other DJ's came out and they hugged and danced and they all talked on the mic for bit. It was beautiful man!
Bob: This all happened in a matter of 1 hour?
Jim: Yeah it was a 1 hour set.
Bob: Ok Jim are you sitting down?
Jim: I am now, whats up? Faux DJ's again? I knew it!
Bob: Faux DJ's again Jim. What your hearing may sound good to the uninformed , but actually these Faux DJ's take as many tracks as they can and cut them down to 2 minute sections, buildup drop, buildup drop. Its like playing Breaks, but Faux DJ's have taken the human error out of the mix. Some Faux DJ's even pre-produce the transitions so it sounds like amazing things are happening. But in reality they are just limiting themselves, by removing the dynamics of what a DJ does. In the Rap game there used to be guys with No Limits. today in DJing we have the Faux Limit Soldier guys who set limits right out the gate, because having real skills is tough, and making extra sure no one hears the human error is very important into fooling an unknowing crowd.

Shackteâu

A Shackteau is a humble, weather-beaten, structurally questionable shelter located in a spectacular or highly coveted place—Wales, Jackson Hole, Sun Valley, Crested Butte, coastal Maine, the Alps—where the building itself may be worth almost nothing, but the dirt, view, access, and mythology make it absurdly valuable.
In use:
Shackteâu - We thought it was an abandoned shed until the realtor called it a rare alpine Shackteâu with unobstructed views and listed it for $2 million.

Fogey/fogy /fougi/ sl. (early 18C+, orig. Scot) old-fashioned, stuck-in-the mud.
Person with old fashioned ideas which he is unwilling to change: Come to the disco and stop being such an old fogey!
You think me an old fogeyand an old tory, his thoughtful voice said. I saw three generations since O’Connel’s time. I remember the famine. Do you know that the orange lodges agitated for repeal of the union twenty years before O’Connel did or before the prelates of your communion denounced him as a demagogue? You fenians forget some things. (James Joyce, Ulysses. Penguin Books,1992. p. 38)
