It means he's got a 2 to 1 death to kill ratio. So he's got 17 kills which means he has about... 36-38 deaths?
Hym "So yeah. .44 means he dies twice for every 1 kill he gets. Depending on the game it could be a role issue rather than a skill issue. If you're playing healer support you not likely to get a lot or any kills but you are bound to die a could times. And in 20 games that could only amount to 2 or 3 deaths per game. But if it's a shooter that's bad. Depending on the shooter it might not be AS bad as it could be. He likely doesn't have very many games played if he only has 38-ish. If you're playing rainbow 6 seige or something there are only 5 kills TO BE had per round. I can't remember how many rounds you play but if it's best 2 out of three you could only get a maximum of between 10 and 14 kills (assuming that in the round you lost you killed 4 out of 5 and the 5th guy killed you losing you the round and taking you to round 3). But it's unlikely that you'll solo team-wipe in a 5v5 game very often."

.44 Magnum

A handgun cartrige orignially developed for the Smith & Wesson. Model 29 double action revolver. The .44 Mag is the brainchild of pistolero Elmer Keith.
The .44 Magnum was forever immortalized when it was first seen in the Clint Eastwood movie, 'Dirty Harry.' It has become a popular handgun hunting round, and can be found chambered in various handguns, including the Smith & Wesson 629 (and variants), Ruger's Blackhawk, Redhawk, and Super Red Hawk revolvers, and of course the ever popular Israeli Desert Eagle autoloading pistol. While no longer the reining heavyweight champion, it is far more practical than cartridges such as the .454 Casull, .475 Linebaugh, (.50 Action Express), and .500 Smith & Wesson.

The Borg known as Seven of Nine on the Star Trek Voyager TV series. Played by actress Jeri Ryan.

Also called "36 of D" by those who are nearsighted, inexperienced, or don't know a great handful when they see it.
"Hell yeah I'd do 44 of D, I mean Seven of Nine. With or without her Borg gear. Uhhh... do you think it's really true about her metal pussy teeth?"
