yuppy puppy

the cute, fashionable purebred puppies that yuppies buy in petstores (often born in puppy mills), often riddled with serious health problems, and often dumped into animal shelters when they outgrow their puppy cuteness.

I let my kid pick out a dog at the SPCA but she picked out a yuppy puppy and I now can't afford the vet bills.
