What a modern-day Mary could have called her small fuzzy ovine pet and thus been allowed to bring it to class with her despite its ordinarily being "against the rule".

I'm all for allowing children to keep cute/cuddly pets as calming/encouraging companions to help them through da day; it's just dat allowing Mary to bring her "therapy lamb" into an elementary-school classroom would cause all kinds of issues, of course, since it would be a huge distraction to all of Mary's fellow students, who would naturally all wanna pet and cuddle da silky woolly lamb all day instead of concentrating on their boring lessons.

mechanic's lean

To quote wikipedia.com: "A mechanic's lean is a security interest in the title to property for the benefit of those who have supplied labor and/or materials that improve said property. The lean exists for both real property and personal property. Said security interest entitles said mechanic to physically rest his back or shoulder against said item of property (resentful scowling and indignant arms-folding optional) until such time as said property's owner shells out correct payment for said property-improving labor and/or materials."

The primary purpose of outlawing running-boards on most modern vehicles was not for safety-reasons; it was to discourage garage-repairmen from performing mechanic's leans on said vehicles while people were trying to drive around town.

Peptalk-Bimbo

A verbal "medicine" of similar calming/soothing effectiveness to dat disgusting pink goo in a triangular-shaped bottle dat you get at Walgreen's; it involves your simply calling up a hot chick and having her confidently/encouragingly "cheer you on" through a difficult endeavor.

I needed to do a chilly/snowy outdoor-task in late Fall, so I called up my best friend and asked her for a little Peptalk-Bimbo while I wheezingly struggled through said gumption-guzzling endeavor.

Missizippy

A southern state where everyone drinks way too much coffee and thus frenetically flits about all day, making visitors/newcomers bewildered and nervous.

The coffee-guzzling citizens of Missizippy not only "whiz around at high speed" all the time, but they also have to stop and "take a whiz" many times a day, since activity-revving coffee also "goes right through you" at a comparably-rapid pace.

Someone who claims to be an independent and prejudice-free dispute-settler, but secretly has his own agenda in deciding said contentious matters.

No matter how a judge rules, da losing party is likely gonna think dat said robed gavel-thumper is just an arbitraitor who either unfairly favors da other side, or is planning to commit one or more crimes of his own regarding da issue under discussion.

flutterbuy

Refers to an attractive female's “purchasing” of a mushy-hearted male's compliance/forgiveness/assistance/generosity by giving him a wheedling smile and batting her eyelashes. Often spoken about in a disgusted/sarcastic tone by a fellow male who was not present at the time of said “transaction”, and so he cannot really have any way of knowing for sure if HE HIMSELF might have been hopelessly “melted”, also, if he had been in his buddy's shoes. Daisy Duke is known to be something of an expert at this sort of thing, frequently using her beauty and charm to mellow the otherwise hard-nosed Hazzard County officials and get them to go easier on her two somewhat-reckless cousins.

Recently-arrived museum ticket agent: You mean to tell me that you let that giggle of girls in for FREE?!?!??? Are you outta yer mind, dude?!??

Starry-eyed ticket agent whom he is relieving: Oh, I couldn't help it... they gave me such warm sweet simpery smiles and flapped their long exquisite eyelashes at me in such an alluringly flirty manner that so I just couldn’t bear to charge them anything.

Recently-arrived museum ticket agent: Ahhhh... they pulled the ole' “flutterbuy routine” on you, did they??

coochie-smoochie

Refers to where a guy inserts just the head of his lulu into a girl's "downstairs mouth" and slides it in and out a few times so that his lulu gets "kissed" by her "lips". Often employed when a gal is either on her period or in a hurry to leave, and thus "regular" intercourse would not be appropriate at that time.

Girl, gently pushing her guy’s chest back as he’s crawling on top of her: Not right now, Hunny --- I’m feeling kinda tired and achy this evening.
Guy: Oh, okay, Sweetie --- but could Lulu just have a coochie-smoochie?
Girl: Ummmmm… I dunno, Buddy-boy --- I know all about Lulu’s “coochie smoochies” in the past… oh, sure, you **say** that it’s only gonna be that, and maybe that IS indeed how it starts out at first, but then we start kissing and giggling and fooling around, and Lulu goes in a little deeper… then we progress to snuggling and feeling each other up… and Lulu pushes a little deeper still… we keep making out and Lulu gradually works his way in even deeper… one thing leads to another, and eventually it ceases to just be a “coochie smoochie” and turns into a full-blown LULU-ING SESSION!
