In the anime dragonball, Goku as a child transforms into a great ape twice within a year, the first was when they were trapped in 3 foot "special steel" thick cube prizon with tempered glass up on top, the full moon is out, and after he transforms he has his tail cut off.
plot convenience kicks in during the final round of the world martial arts tournament, Goku's tail grows back during his fight with Monster Beast Giran, and the full moon just happens to be out during the final fight. In other words plot convenience happens when coincidences must take place in order for the plot to advance.

Get the plot convenience mug.From the dragonball universe, Android 18 is a human remodeled as an android by Dr. Gero. She becomes a good guy after Gohan defeats Cell. Android 17's twin sister, one of the androids created for making Cell perfect. She is slightly less powerful than 17. She becomes Krillin's wife, and has a kid with him named Marin, much to Goku's surprise. She uses computer speak every now and again, demonstrated in her amazement to how Vegeta became so much stronger in such a short time, after training in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, saying "It just doesn't compute 16, there's just no way".
Android 18: Whoever owns these clothes should have their optic sensors adjusted. They are obviously malfunctioning.

He is defeated once by the recently super saiyan Goku, and is killed by Trunks at the beginning of the android saga, after being restored and now mostly machine, his father, King Cold is also killed in the same episode.

Get the Fortuneteller Baba mug.The last villain of the Dragonball Z saga. Created by Bibidi and resurrected by his son Babidi using an enormous of saiyan energy, gathered from Gohan and his fight with Majin Vegeta. The names of these three characters are a reference to Cinderella; Bibbity, Bobbity, Boo!
When Buu first appears out of his Ball that he has been sealed inside for a million years (according to Babidi), he acts very childish due to his absorbing of the Grand Supreme Kai: Daikaioh.
Ironically, in his original state (called Kid Buu) he is more powerful than any other of his fused states, due to his natural, deep-seeded need for destruction and without Daikaioh's good influence, he becomes and unstoppable killing machine, blowing up planet after planet, resulting in him being blown to smithereens and reforming.
