Cartoons that are influenced by anime so they look like anime.

Examples: Pucca, Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi, Kappa Mikey, Teen Titans, Totally Spies, Jackie Chan Adventures, Xiaolin Showdown and Avatar: The Last Airbender.

I should also mention that these shows are often mistaken for anime.

Because They could have:

1. Cartoon characters that look like anime characters

2. Funny and exaggerated facial expressions

3. The ability to turn into cute little chibi versions of themselves.

But I wonder...
What does everyone else think of anime-style cartoons?

I think it's pretty cool.

The weirdest but funniest anime show ever to appear on Toonami. The whole show is just so random, its cute and awesome. It does parodies of other anime shows.

It's about Bobobo, Don-Patch, Beauty, Jelly Jiggler, Gasser, Softon, Dengaku Man and a lot of other good characters fighting evil and Hair Hunters and possibly gaining more allies. There's a lot of fourth wall breaking (which every anime show should have) and a lot of cross-dressing.

Bobobo uses his "Fist of the Nose Hair" to attack the bad guys, his friends attack with their own powers and Beauty always gets that funny "What in the World expression?" expression on her face from the insanity of this show (A lot of the characters do that, too).

Too bad it only had 76 episodes. I was hoping it would be ongoing like Naruto, One Piece, and Bleach. It needs more love. Ever since it's series finale, Toonami stopped showing it. :(

I enjoyed this anime. Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo Forever!
Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo is really weird but really awesome.

An extremely funny cartoon reality series that involves a large group of 16-year-olds competing for lots of money.

It first started out as Total Drama Island where 22 teens were competing at Camp Wawanakwa, doing crazy, dangerous and sometimes gross Challenges to win.

The teens were Courtney, Tyler, Duncan, Lindsay, Heather, Harold, Owen, Trent, Ezekiel, Geoff, DJ, LeShawna, Gwen, Brigdette, Beth, Cody, Eva, Izzy, Katie, Sadie, Justin and Noah.

Total Drama Action is the sequel where the teens compete in an abandoned movie lot doing Challenges related to movie genres known to man.

The teens were Lindsay, Owen, Gwen, Trent, Duncan, Harold, LeShawna, Geoff, Heather, DJ, Bridgette, Beth, Justin, Izzy and Courtney.

This is followed by Celebrity Manhunt's Total Drama Action Reunion Special which led to Total Drama World Tour. Sierra and Alejandro are the newcomers.

The show is hosted by Chris McLean and he is always accompanied by Chef Hatchet.

I'm a little bugged by the fact that some characters are kicked off before the new season starts.

But the one thing that bugs me the most is the censorship this series gets here in America. And it's because of Cartoon Network and the FCC. They mess with the dialouge, making the characters say things a five-year old would say and half or most of the edits don't make any since at all, making the show less funny. If you ask me, they should have left the show in Canada or they should have just released the way it was originally made.
Conversation that involves Total Drama Island/Action:

Boy: Who's your favorite character in the Total Drama Series?

Girl: Lindsay.

Two words that mean same gender love in anime and manga. It can give people a nosebleed.

Yaoi is Boy+Boy Love and Yuri is Girl+Girl Love.

Sometimes it involves hentai.

To avoid hentai, go for Shonen-Ai which is for Yaoi couples and Shoujo-Ai which is for Yuri couples.

Example with Naruto:

Yaoi: Naruto and
Sasuke

Yuri: Sakura and Ino

Yaoi is for girls and Yuri is for boys. :)
NaruSasu is my favorite Yaoi! :)

SakuIno is a beautiful Yuri! :)

Yaoi and Yuri is awesome!

A Toon Network that went from its Golden years to its Crappy years.

How I miss The Cartoon Network City Era (You know, the era where cartoons interact with each other in a city and they have great music and Nikki and The Now/Next with character heads)

Great shows like Ed, Edd n Eddy, Powerpuff Girls, Megas XLR, The Life and Times of Juniper Lee, Time Squad, Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends, Duck Dodgers, Dexter’s Laboratory, The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, Teen Titans, Johnny Bravo, Codename: Kids Next Door, Camp Lazlo, Xiaolin Showdown, Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi, Samurai Jack, My Gym Partner’s a Monkey, Cow and Chicken, Skunk Fu and Mucha Lucha have no schedule anymore because of the NEW Cartoon Network. If it wasn't for these shows, Cartoon Network wouldn't be so awesome!

They took off Toonami few years later...

BIG MISTAKE!

We have no idea why it got cancelled but I got 4 guesses:

They hate anime for being so much more popular than cartoons, Censorship, Toonami is too popular to Cartoon Network or Cartoon Network thinks anime shouldn’t be on a cartoon station

Because of this anti-anime act, Naruto got taken off like 3 weeks after.

The shows they aired were

Hamtaro
Cardcaptors
Pokémon
Pokémon Chronicles
Yu-Gi-Oh
Yu-Gi-Oh GX
Tenchi Muyo
Tenchi Universe
Tenchi in Tokyo
Naruto
Zatch Bell
Dragon Ball
Dragon Ball Z
Dragon Ball GT
Gundam Wing
Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo
One Piece
Rave Master
Duel Masters
SD Gundam
Gundam SEED
.hack//SIGN
Gundam 0080
Rurouni Kenshin

Yu Yu Hakusho
G Gundam
IGPX
Blue Dragon
Sailor Moon

Now that Toonami is off, where will we get more anime to watch and how will they make Saturdays nights feel special and where are we going to watch more anime movies and where will we be able to see more Naruto episodes?

We only had 10 more to get to Shippuden Season!

The only anime we have left are Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh 5D's and Bakugan.

NOT ENOUGH!

What's worse is that they are doing CN Real (Cartoon Network Real) added REALITY shows this year in 2009!

Survive This, Destroy Build Destroy, BrainRush and The Othersiders

They are also adding SlamBall! :(

All of these shows suck and they're gonna fail because no one gives a flying hoo-ha about them.

Like Nikki, the female announcer of the Cartoon Network City Era said,

"This is Cartoon Network."

With all these reality crap they can't call themselves Cartoon Network anymore!

The only good cartoons we have left are Chowder, Total Drama Island/Action, Flapjack and Johnny Test.

The Thumb Wrestling Federation thing is pure retarded and it's lame. As if anyone wants to see thumbs in wrestling masks and stuff. The thumb characters are mostly idiots.

The curfews have decreased by one hour too. So now Cartoon Network ends at 10:00 instead of 11:00.

Anyone who believes the NEW Cartoon Network sucks and that we need the old Cartoon Network back along with Toonami, rate up.

A wall that is always being broken so reality meets fantasy. Like in Anime and Cartoons.

Anime like Naruto, Pokémon, Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo and Duel Masters break the fourth wall.

Cartoons Ed, Edd n Eddy, Powerpuff Girls, Brandy and Mr. Whiskers and Yin Yang Yo break the fourth wall.

They bring up the word "episode" sometimes, too.

They look at YOU directly and they mention their own show!
Every Anime and Cartoon has a fourth wall... It's just that the directors and producers don't have them break it. It's not in their script.

Cartoon Network's late night adult channel where adult anime and adult cartoons are featured for adults.

My favorite shows on there are Shin Chan, Fooly Cooly, Super Milk Chan, InuYahsa, Bleach, Full Metal Alchemist and Yu Yu Hakusho (before it became beautiful Toonami material).

A long time ago, Monday through Thursday nights would have both adult anime and adult cartoons on Adult Swim. It was pretty much the same when they got Friday nights. Saturday nights after Toonami was anime's time to shine while adult cartoons show on Sunday nights.

But now on Monday throught Friday nights with Adult Swim, anime doesn't show with cartoons anymore. Anime on Adult Swim still shows on Saturday but we could use more anime on there because adult cartoons have weekday and Sunday nights and that's not really fair.
(Probably another New Cartoon Network plot against anime)

Still, Adult Swim is looking better than the new Cartoon Network.

If anyone believes this is a good Adult Swim definition and that we shuld have more anime on it, rate up. :)
Adult Swim is best known for adult animation.
