n. A weak wi-fi connection that your ISP insists is "blazing fast."

Rogers Wireless Kids

The group of annoying kids you see on TV for Rogers enacting scenes of teen drama and acting all cute. Their adds are aimed at a large audience of youngsters as they represent a perfectly homogeneous mix, complete with the good-looking girl, not as good-looking girl, boyish guy with haircut, other boy and non-caucasian boy.
<Guy 1> Hey, I just signed up for UrbanDictinary.com strictly to playa hate the My 5 kids.
<Guy 2> Oh, the Rogers Wireless Kids? I can't stand those feeble little prepsters.

Coconut wireless

The Hawaiian concept of the Coconut Wireless is better than a cell phone! It is a wireless and fast way of communicating through word-of-mouth news or the sixth sense.

Example A: Friend 1: "Kealoha isn't home she went to the big island." Friend 2: "Yeah, I heard it on the coconut wireless."

Example B: Say you haven't seen your friend in a while and start to call them and get interrupted. Then they call you a minute later or show up on your doorstep. You are both connected to and tuned into the Coconut Wireless.
Friend 1: "Hey, I was going to call you"
Friend 2: Smiles knowingly, "I know. Heard dat on da Coconut Wireless."

Back when I lived in upstate new york

A meaningless, unimpressive, self-serving introduction. An indicator that the story about to be shared will be pointless and dumb.
Back when I lived in upstate new york, I also had to park on the street - on two occasions, we got enough snow, mixed with just the right plowing, that my car was lifted off the ground from so much snow being jammed underneath it.

Sister: This meeting was to discuss the rough draft of my essay, where we discussed the subsidiary questions I added in my rough draft. We also discussed the relationship between my main title and the real-life situations I chose to use in my essay. We discussed the structure of my essay as well, specifically the Math AOK section and how it relates to the contradiction of the title. This second meeting was particularly helpful in discussing the implications of my essay claims and how to apply the title across various areas of knowledge. There were many sections of the essay that could have been cut down in wordiness and the ways of knowing required further and more in-depth analysis.
