In most areas of the U.S., westbumfuck means a rural area away from the city, see the sticks or B.F.E. A town that is in the middle of no where that is no where near any urban city. A city that is more than an hour commute for its capital. A boondock area of the state in which usually nothing, not even shit, happens.

The spot between two places where you are not quite in one and not quite in the other as it pertains to geographical location, i.e. the remotest part of somewhere which is nowhere (a township with a population under 5000 not close to city life).

We were in the middle of westbumafuck Oklahoma stranded without a gas station or store in sight.
