Derived from the two words "virtual modifications". Usually used in reference to drastically changing the appearance of an object through a process of digital photo editing.
Bill: "I made this VW Golf look like a Lamborghini!"
Dan: "Now how the hell did you do that?"
Chris: "These are virtual mods I made with Photoshop!"
