The Shrine 

The shrine is a term for the community of individuals who class themselves as Otakus. An otaku is an established fan of anime/manga.

Many Otakus choose to hide this side of themselves in order to avoid judgement or ridicule. The Shrine is a movement to encourage Otakus to be proud of themselves and embrace their fandom.

Therefore if you are an otaku, that embraces their Otaku nature without shame or embarrassment. You are part of the Shrine.

I am a member of the Shrine, now excuse me while I go stream an episode of Noragami on Crunchyroll.

The Shrine 

The sacred place that a group of stoners will select as the main area they will smoke their finest marijuana.

Usually a Shrine will be in an area that suits all of the groups smoking needs.

Once selected the Shrine is then thought to be a pilgrimage site for other stoners who would like to experience how another group smokes their green.

The owners of the various Shrines are then referred to as Elders and are free to do with their Shrine as they please.

A good example for The Shrine would be a downstairs toilet with an air filter or an outside shed with seats in.

Probably the most popular of the rooms in the final temple challenge on the Nickelodeon game show "Legends of the Hidden Temple." Inside the room there were three pieces of a statue of a silver monkey. The participant could not go on to the next room until he or she put the three piece together.

Nostalgic Dude: "Dude, it was so frustrating watching kids who couldn't put the statue together in the Shrine of the Silver Monkey"
Other Dude: "I know! There were only three freaking pieces! How difficult could it be?"

the Shine Of Malice 

The shine that anime characters do when they are trying to intimidate you with their glasses. Usually results in pushing the glasses up the bridge of their nose as a shine goes on it, blocking out the eyes and making it all white.

The shiner is a guy/girl who has it all: Looks, Personality, etc.. They are beautiful on the inside and the out, and are meant to be with you forever.
