texas picnic 

What every other state calls a "BBQ" we Texans call a picnic. This has lead to much confusion and mouth watering for Texans unfortunately outside their state who are traveling to a so-called BBQ. The usual menu at such a "BBQ" is hotdogs and burgers.

Apparently anything that's put on a grill suddenly becomes "BBQ."

I was invited to a BBQ in california. I showed up expecting sausage, brisket, tasty things.

Turns out it was a texas picnic. I got veggie burgers, hotdogs, and normal burgers.

Texas Picnic Basket

Defecating into a Whataburger fast food wrapper and leaving it on top of a trash can at a Texas roadside rest area

While on a road trip through Texas I stopped to use the bathroom at a rest stop, but they were out of order so I had to leave a Texas picnic basket
