When the woman is letting the man know that it is time to talk. Chill conversation. Hopes he sees clearly that this issue is not for the better of the both of them to drag all this IM, PC, mess into it.

Straightforward 

When a guy has said to the people who decided they might have problems with him, his life, or the way he lives it in the future that they could let him know when and if they did at any time and anywhere, he's been straightforward with them. There's nothing coming from his ass or his yard, he said what he meant to say.

The guy is not a famous actor, musician, or athlete, so there's nothing glamorous going on in his life. He hasn't done a whole lot that wasn't straightforward with anything that was on his mind.
