Verb.
The act of putting your fingertips together, most likely to indicate thoughtfulness.

So named because this action makes one's hands look vaguely like a steeple.
The following children's hand game shows an example of steepling:
This is the church; this is the steeple; open the doors, and there's all the people.
Steepling by Mysterious C June 22, 2006
A hand gesture where the fingers of one hand touch the other and the palms are pressed inwards arching the fingers.

This was once a gesture of confidence, but now it solely connotes condescension and is only seen in action by the #bellends in Apple's virtual events.
Ugh, I can't watch those Apple events anymore with those cringe-making presenters steepling their hands like the new colour phone needs to be explained to me like I'm six.

Sleeping Warrior

An individual who proposes the earth is a flat plane surrounded by an icy pizza crust and makes wild claims that objects fall or float due to their density only.

A gravity denier who beats off into a Henry vacuum cleaner and considers that scientific method.

A flat earther who cannot research and / or doesn't wash. A keyboard warrior for those who are still asleep.

An unscientific and unimaginative attention seeker who proves the earth is a globe yet denies the evidence in order to make money off other people's good nature.

A predator and a charlatan. An unremarkable Level 1 Pandarian Monk from Azeroth.
Person A: "Got a vacuum cleaner handy?"
Person B: "Don't be a sleeping warrior."

Person A: "So i told the idiot Mt Rainer should tower over Mt St Helen at the height illustrated in that photograph, but he got the height wrong"
Person B: "The height was referring to the side peak of Mt St Helens, not the summit"
Person A: "The photograph is fake then"

fache-couture

French slang, which translated, means "bull's fashion" but basically equates to "hyper trendy" or overly trendy. Used when a person wishes to express distaste at the latest fashion trend/fad, because it seems that everyone has a certain item of clothing or is wearing it. This term is most frequently heard in Paris but is slowly spreading to other parts of France.
1. That Burberry scarf is so fache-couture.
2. That purple American Apparel hoodie is so fache-couture.

A slang term for GLP-1 medications(like Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, etc.), usually referring to their appetite-killing, weight-loss, or “I forgot to eat” effects rather than the medical details.

Usage:
* Often casual, ironic, or meme-y
* Can imply effortless weight loss, suppressed hunger, or being “powered by pharmaceuticals”

Notes:
Not a brand name—just shorthand for the whole GLP-1 wave. Frequently shows up in online jokes, gym talk, and group chats where people pretend they’re *totally* doing it naturally.
“I’m not dieting, I’m just on that glippy.”
“Ever since the glippy hit, food feels optional.”
“That summer body? Yeah, glippy assisted.”
