The tremendous increase in hunger that occurs during the time period between ordering and receiving food at a restaurant.
While waiting at the restaurant, Nate began to suffer from a severe case of starvflation.

The pain of starvflation was almost too much for Sarah to bear; when she finally received her food she nearly fainted from joy.

stagflation

The state of being economically fucked.

Unemployment is high, and so is inflation. Increasing economic production will reduce unemployment, BUT push inflation even higher. Reducing economic production will reduce inflation, but put more people out of work.
What am I supposed to do about this stagflation?

I dunno. Damned if you do, damned if you don't, really.
