space invader

A guy or gal that uncomfortably invites themselves into your personal air space, especially on a first date.
Friend - "How was the date?"
Me - "Horrible; at dinner, he sat, like, two inches away instead of across from me. Ick - what a space invader!"

personal space invader

some one who has no sense of personal space and sticks their stupid face really close to yo whilst talking, even though you may not know them very well.
chap 1) met the new guy, dude?
dude 1) yeah, bit of a personal space invader, huh? all leaning in and breathing on me. Freak.

personal space invader

A person or pet who invades one's personal space. A person who stands unnecessarily close when they talk to you or just in a place with lots of room. A kid or pet that follows you around very closely so that whenever you change direction you bump into them or step on them.
?I was shopping with my nephew the other day and he was behind me every time I turned around. He was being such a personal space invader."

My dad is such a personal space invader! He stands right up close to you when he's talking to you. It makes a lot of people nervous.

space invader

often a rich kid or trust funder who moves to your area (especially nyc, la, big cities etc) from a cow poke town and takes up your space, driving rent and all costs of living up. these are especially despised hipsters who start repping the city they've invaded as if it were there own.
ex: Paul moved to brooklyn to attend Pratt, he began saying he was from "BK all day" while his parents paid exorbitant rent so he could hang in nyc, what a fucking space invader!

Office Space Invader

Anyone at work who has no respect for your office space, usually a co-worker, who will "invade" your cubicle or any other office space without permission to "borrow" office supplies that they themselves have run out of, or they just want to snoop and say that they're looking for something that they've lost.
Joni: Hmmm, Troy isn't in his cubicle, let me see what he's up to so I can report it and feel like i'm doing something important.

Troy: "Excuse me, can I help you?"

Joni: "Oh, Troy, I didn't see you there." "I was just looking for something"

Troy: "Well, did you find it?"

Joni: "Ummm, no, I guess it isn't here." "It must be someplace else, see you later."

Troy: "That Joni is such an office space invader!"
