1. One of an elite group of individuals who passionately believes the character Spike from the television show Buffy the Vampire Slayer and James Marsters, the actor who plays him, is worthy of a large portion of her time, attention and resources.

2. A woman of obvious good taste and intelligence.

When Mr. Marsters entered his hotel room, he was unsurprised to find two socksisters hiding under his bed.
