Once a great TV network that aired afternoon soap operas that night. Due to increased DVR use, The Walt Disney Company which owned the network decided to launch another kids network instead and transformed the channel into Disney Junior. Some TV systems try to keep the channel on their lineup by adding Disney Junior and keeping SoapNet, but unfortunately the company officially ended the network on December 31, 2013.

an American basic cable network owned by the Disney–ABC Television Group division of The Walt Disney Company.

When Soapnet was announced, Sony Pictures Entertainment planned to launch a competing cable channel and website called SoapCity, which would air all CBS soap operas and the Sony-owned/produced NBC soap Days of Our Lives.

Serial Monogamist

Someone who jumps from one relationship immediately into another one.

Serial monogamists can not stand to be alone and often suffer from vast commitment and insecurity issues.

Because they jump into relationships immediately after the previous one has ended, serial monogamists typically don't take the time to reflect on their behavior or why their previous relationships failed; thus, they end up making the same relationship mistakes over and over again.
