Shittification

Identical in meaning to enshittification, but dropping the superfluous "en" prefix to be less cumbersome and more understandable

During the post-pandemic economic downturn, a broad trend of shittification played out across many popular online services. Netflix imposed device limits, YouTube cranked up the amount of ads, AirBnBs got more expensive and some even assigned chores to guests.

Shitisfaction

The forced smile and "yeah, all good, thanks" you give when someone has served you up something rubbish and clearly expects you to be happy with it. Up there with a meal that is interesting. It lives in the gap between what you got and how pleased you're expected to act - when it is clearly shit, but you aren't allowed to say so.

The tradie turned up three weeks late, fixed the leak by moving it to the other side of the kitchen, then stood there waiting for a five-star Google review. Yep, "legend, mate."

That's peak shitisfaction.
