What you do when you've been in the sun for a while, you're hot and/or uncomfortable, and you need some shade. Shadowbathing is the opposite of sunbathing; it results in a nice cool feeling that is comparable to eating a freezepop with your entire body.

Yo Erica, we've been playing frisbee in this heat for four hours...let's break for lunch and do some shadowbathing.

When one is attempting to sunbathe but the sunlight always seems to disappear leaving oneself in the shade when you are lying there trying to get a tan

Shadowbating

Phantom masturbation as you see a lot of people use nowadays. The participant acts as if they are masturbating and sometimes concludes with a fake ejaculation. It is usually used as sarcasm or a way to show displeasure. The word is a play on the boxing technique of shadowboxing.

Tom: Rick, you look like a transvestite.
Rick: *acts as if he is masturbating*
Tom: Quit shadowbating.
