seniorism 

An action, usually negative (but sometimes funny) most often associated with people of a certain age.

One of Mom's many seniorisms is constantly losing her housekeys, which often turn up in some pocket or other. She's always stashing and forgetting.

Seniorism 

Noun. When a persons age, prolonged experience, or position of seniority causes faults in judgement, biases, outdated ideologies, or simply outright ignorance.

Someone who refuses to get with the times or adapt to changes may be known as a “Seniorist”.

Examples of seniorism:

“Things were better in the olden days.”

“You can’t change it, we’ve done it like that for years.”
“Let’s rebuild an empire in the 2020s”

“Karen’s seniorism has gotten out of hand, she keeps trying convince me to bring back the USSR.”

“Dave is a major seniorist; you tell him there’s a new procedure, he will do it the way he always did.”

Senioritis

A disease affecting mostly high school seniors.

symptoms include:
- laziness

- lack of motivation

- excessive absences in school
- putting off assignments till the very last minute (more than usual)

- feeling of hopelessness

- thoughts of giving up

- feelings of not caring if you graduate or not

- STRESS a lot of stress
- more stress
- constant tired feeling
- irritable about everything

- panic feeling

The only cure for senioritis is to graduate or drop out.

teacher: essays are due by Sunday night at exactly 11:59pm

senior: *starts essay at 11pm and panics till 11:57pm when they submit essay* thanks alot Senioritis

senioritis sufferers anonymous 

We tried to have the first meeting, but half of the people who signed up didn't show and the half that did show up were all drunk or high. Instead of arranging the second meeting, a group vote established that we would play paper basketball and then leave an hour before we were scheduled to.

Man, we didn't get anything done at that senioritis sufferers anonymous meeting.

Senioritis

noun. A crippling disease that strikes high school seniors. Symptoms include: laziness, an over-excessive wearing of track pants, old athletic shirts, sweatpants, athletic shorts, and sweatshirts. Also features a lack of studying, repeated absences, and a generally dismissive attitude. The only known cure is a phenomenon known as Graduation.

Why didn't study for your math test Kuhns?

Oh, who studies for a math test anyways. I got senioritis.

Seniority 

when people are placed in a higher position solely based on age. This concept is unfortunately present in many high school sports teams, especially tennis teams.

person 1: hey did you make varsity?
person 2: no
person 1: why?
person 2: seniority
