Primarily used in the world of football/soccer when an event occurs that causes the attending audience to absolutely lose their god damn minds.

Announcer: "SCENES AT THE LUZHNIKI STADIUM AS RUSSIA PULL AHEAD 2-0 OVER THE SAUDIS! THEY HAVE ABSOLUTELY BLOWN THE LID OFF THIS PLACE!"

A simpler term used to describe something bizarre, exciting or crazy. This may refer to a person/object or an event. Also a way of expressing emotions or feelings The word ‘mad’ is used to put emphasis on the term.

Scenes on toast 

'Scenes on toast' can be used in a variety of contexts especially when seeing something that is impressive, interesting and/or appealing to a 18-year old virgin. The history is derived from 'beans on toast' as well as 'absolute scenes'.

Bad Scenes 

First used by Gareth Lewis to describe a night where police where called to eject men in their late twenties from an 18 year old girls birthday party....Bad Scenes!
The word has evolved to many things.

1) Describing events of an unpleasant nature.
2) Debauched goings on.
3) Unpleasant, yet entertaining acts of lunacy.
4) Antics instigated by drugs or alcohol.
5) Ugly bird/bloke.
