A person who walks around in public places talking loudly on cellular phones almost as if they think everyone else will be interested in hearing one side of a conversation.

Announcer 

Somebody who watches the same games as everybody else, but often has a broad surface knowledge of many different teams, athletes, stats, and happenings in a league they announce for.

If announcers or sports writers (or the people giving them a script or ghostwriting if it applies) were good at going into a game and scoring 30 something or 40 something points, they would be on a team doing it. A lot of the superhero hype that nobody can really live up to comes from what they're trying to do with the athletes. Next thing you know, some people seem to want these guys kicked off a team and moved to another town, to run them out of town. Some of the people involved in these decisions think they own a guy, a league, or a town that they play in.

Announcer

announcer's curse 

A state or condition in which an athlete fails to perform a skill that an announcer just praised him or her for. Also known as "announcer's jinx." Can an announcer jinx a player? Who knows? But phenomena like this suggest that consciousness may not in fact entirely reside in the skull cavity. When science develops more fully, we may one day have proof.

Let's say a basketball player is about to make a foul shot. The announcer reports, "She hasn't missed a free throw all night!" The player steps to the line and proceeds to miss the shot. Announcer: "This must have been a case of announcer's curse."

The expression of ones voice, louder than is necessary when talking normally with others. Generally applied to extremely loud South Africans that cant talk quietly, especially when high.
