scene core

Scenecore is usually associated with glam punk. It's following music trends and applying fashion trends to them, and those fashion trends are usually as mainstream as it can be in the punk scene...and they are considered to be posers too. It's also dressing just to impress rather than just wearing something that's cheap and comfortable.

Boys usually wear tight shirts, girls pants, and sometimes "emo" style hair

Girls usually have short hair, sometimes with really short bangs, pin straight, dyed lots of times

bandanas around the ankle and wrist is scenecore, and so are really huge sunglasses and small hairclips.

It also seems like a lot of scenecore girls go to shows just to meet guys, and vice versa.
Ohh man look at that girl...

she looks like she just went on a shopping spree at A&F and thrift stores...

yeah and she only likes Bane and Simple Plan.

Mann what a scene core chick...

Words you can keep

scene core

One who is into the scene hard core, and usually is a poseur. A lot of the time people become scene core to be cool, but really they have no clue what it is to be scene. Most scene core girls have the really short hair that they can't pull all the way back, and wear lots of "thrif store" clothes, which they really bought at A&F. Scene core guys wear girl pants and dye their hair black with side bangs.
Whoa, Chelsea became so scene core this weekend.

an aesthetic mostly based around "emo" or "scene" shit. this aesthetic is not to be confused with ACTUAL scenekids, but it is relatively similar. scenecore mfs mostly listen to rebzyyx, hoshie star, roninkys, punkinloveee and h3artcrush.
person 1: "have you heard the new hoshie star song?"
person 2: "hell yeah! i love how all his songs are about scenegirls doing drugs in the club and just scenecore in general!!"

scenexcore

Usually used by indie kids to make fun of scenesters. It takes the phrase hard core and it's usage in the word "hardxcore," and transforms it into "scenexcore," roughly meaning very scene.

Scenecore

A collaboration of several current genres including post-hardcore, metalcore, "crunkcore" and several other various '-cores'.

The musicians consist of underage scene kids & preppy kids alike that 'play' the guitar and write songs filled relentlessly with alternate picking, fry screams, breakdowns, and double bass pedals.

The fans describe their music as "br00tal" and "dope"; often claim that their music is "emo", "screamo", "hardcore" and other '80s genres that died out before the turn of the century and are constantly ruining much liked genres. Some of the more recent genres to have fallen with in Scenecore's grasp are death and doom metal.
Scenecore bands must have:
-A screamer
-As many guitarists as they wish (they must play the same thing)
-A drummer with a double bass pedal, a snare, and a crash.
-A bassist that immitates the rythm guitar's power chords progressions constantly
-A male singer with a high & whiney voice
-Breakdowns
Optional:
-Keyboardists that play 4-7 notes on a synth setting
-Techno bridges
-Eyeliner

-you look in the mirror just to take a picture.
-your haircut is the EXACT same as all of your friends.
-instead of inventing new trends, you steal others and call them original.
-you thinks dinosaurs & barrettes are a way of life.
-you listen to the blood brothers, but only because its the scene thing to do. lets face it they suck.
-your on myspace more then 8 hours a day.

More from Urban Dictionary
West Midlands slang word for rockers, bikers, greasers etc. In the late 1980s it was used by the UK music press to refer to a specific scene centered around the bands Pop Will Eat Itself and Crazyhead. The term never found favour with readers of 'the inkies' (Sounds, Melody Maker and the still extant NME) and was soon dropped. Now often used in predominantly working-class areas of the midlands and the north to mean someone who listens to rock-derived music and/or dresses in a manner that suggests they affiliate themselves with rock music of some kind.
Some grebo passed with Sabbath playing on his stereo.
The Poppies are at no. 17? God, a grebo band in the charts!
They're playing nu-metal now, bloody grebos!
